Immortal Love Advent Calendar With Spellbinders

Immortal Love Advent Calendar With Spellbinders
This was published in the on line magazine Paper Haus http://issuu.com/thepaperhaus/docs/paperhaus_magazine_winter_issue_2ri on page 86 or see above
Spellbinders Bracket Box die....yes this one will fit through a cuttlebug. Cut 25. I used DCWV Imortal Love 4.5" by6.5" paper stack for the lids. I used a 12" by 12" canvas with a 10" hole in the back to create the frame to hold the boxes.

A close up of one of the boxes
This is where the goodies go.
Resin pieces to decorate the frame.

Glorious Gift Boxes

Glorious Gift Boxes
Held a box class at Scottie Crafts on Saturday with a great group of Ladies.  A good time was had by all. They got to create and decorate 2 beautiful Box/ Baskets, with ideas and instructions and a kit (thanks Scottie Crafts) to complete at least 8 more different designs.
Table set with amazing kits and an extra home baked goodies.

Here some of them are hard at play.

They also got to play with the ebosser. This is an amazing machine that will take any die A4 size and smaller. It is electronic and very user friendly. Due to arrive in mid November. I WANT ONE!!!!!

They got to play with Tim Holtz distress embossing powder.

I baked them a little treat and packaged it in another box design using Spellbinder dies. LF-008

This was the box they made with Spellbinders LF-010    www.scottiecrafts.co.nz

Spellbinders LF-007. This was the basket created in class.

Thanks ladies for joining me.

Love My Cricut

Love My Cricut
To cut the Cricut craft vinyl on your cricut put the blade depth at 4 and pressure one back from maximum. This setting is called a kiss cut it will only cut through the vinyl and not the backing paper. I brayer my vinyl with the backing still on to my cricut board. The
is cut from Cricut Home Decore
Now carefully roll the cut item off the backing sheet as you apply it to your chosen item. You need to be sure all the little cut out pieces stay on the backing sheet you will use those for glass etching in the next step.

The finished item

 Now for the Glass etching
This is what I have left after using the cut out.

Apply masking tape or transfer tape over the piece as shown.

Very carefully remove the backing sheet from the vinyl and maksing tape piece. Make sure that every little piece of the vinyl stays on the masking tape and the backing sheet comes away clean.

Now apply to your chosen glass surface. Slowly remove the masking tape. Making sure to leave every little cut out piece of the vinyl on the glass

Now apply the glass etching paste making sure to wear gloves and rinse tools well in water when you are done.

The finished item.
I have also cut fabric to decorate a cushion
You have to try this. Use Heat and Bond from Spotlight ironed onto the back of your fabric. Brayer it onto your cricut mat and cut. Iron finished piece onto your chosen surface.
